Sellnario Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 27, 2026
Last Updated: September 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sellnario LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (Sellnario, we, us, or our), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Sellnario website, AI-powered sales-practice simulations, and related services (the Service). This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use.

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your first name, email address, and password (or authentication credentials if you sign in another way). If you complete our onboarding assessment, we also collect information you provide about your sales role, industry, experience level, and the products or services you sell.

Practice Session Content. When you use the Service's practice and roleplay features, we collect the content of your practice sessions, including text you type, your spoken responses (if you use voice features), transcripts, AI-generated customer responses, coaching feedback, debriefs, and scores.

Voice Recordings. If you enable microphone access, we record your voice during practice sessions to generate transcripts, coaching feedback, and scores. See Section 4 (Voice Recordings and Biometric Information) below for how voice data is used and retained.

Payment Information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects and processes your payment card or bank details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number; we receive limited billing information from Stripe, such as your subscription status, plan, and billing history.

Device and Security Information. To keep your account secure, we keep records of when you sign in, including a timestamp of your last activity. If you ever want to end your sessions, you can sign out everywhere from Settings.

Support, Feedback, and Team Inquiries. If you contact support, submit feedback, rate a feature, or fill out a form expressing interest in Sellnario for your team or company, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email, company name, team size, industry, and the content of your message.

Usage and Diagnostic Information. We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, such as which features you use and session timing, as well as technical logs about our AI systems (such as which AI model handled a request, response time, and error rates) to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Cookies and Similar Technologies. We use essential cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and protect the Service against fraud and abuse. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers, and, as of the date of this Policy, we do not use any third-party analytics or advertising service that shares your information with ad networks.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  1. Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating AI Outputs, scoring your practice sessions, and tracking your progress over time;
  2. Process payments, manage your subscription, and send billing-related communications;
  3. Authenticate you, secure your account, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use;
  4. Respond to your support requests, feedback, and inquiries about team or business plans;
  5. Send you service-related communications (such as password resets and billing notices, which we always send) and, if you opt in, product and account emails, which you can turn off at any time in Settings;
  6. Monitor, debug, and improve the reliability, safety, and quality of the Service and its AI systems; and
  7. Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. AI Processing and Third-Party AI Providers

The Service uses artificial intelligence, including large language models and voice-processing technology, to generate simulated customer personas, conversational responses, coaching feedback, and scores. As of the Effective Date above, Sellnario uses OpenAI's API to power these features.

OpenAI's business/API terms state that it does not use data submitted through its API to train its models by default; API customers must affirmatively opt in before any such use occurs, and Sellnario has not opted in to any such data-sharing or model-improvement program. Your practice session content and voice recordings are sent to OpenAI to generate AI Outputs for you, subject to OpenAI's own security and data-handling practices as our processor.

If we add or change our AI provider, or if our data-sharing arrangement with an AI provider changes, we will update this Policy accordingly. We do not sell your practice session content, transcripts, or voice recordings to any third party.

4. Voice Recordings and Biometric Information

No Biometric Voiceprint. Sellnario's voice features are used to transcribe and analyze the content of what you say; they are not designed to create, extract, or store a biometric voiceprint, voice signature, or other biometric identifier capable of uniquely identifying you across sessions or devices. If we introduce a feature that creates or stores such a biometric identifier, we will provide additional notice and, where required by law (such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act, or Washington's biometric privacy law), obtain your prior consent before doing so.

Retention and Deletion of Voice Recordings. Voice recordings are stored securely and automatically deleted on a recurring daily schedule: each recording is deleted no later than 30 days after it is made, and sooner if its individually assigned expiration is shorter. Deletion removes the underlying audio file itself, not just the record that refers to it. The text transcript, scores, and non-audio content of a practice session follow the retention schedule in Section 6 below.

Recording Consent. By enabling microphone access, you consent to Sellnario recording, processing, and transcribing your voice for the purposes described in this Policy. If a practice session involves any other real person, you are responsible for obtaining that person's consent to be recorded, in compliance with applicable state and federal wiretapping and recording-consent laws.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, under contractual obligations to protect it and use it only for the purposes we specify. These include Supabase (database hosting, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payment processing), OpenAI (AI processing, described in Section 3), and our application hosting and email-delivery infrastructure providers (for account, billing, and product emails).

Legal and Safety Reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sellnario, our users, or the public, or to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

Business Transfers. If Sellnario is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of its business or assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a policy providing at least equivalent protection.

With Your Direction. We may share information with other parties when you direct us to or otherwise consent.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Practice History. Practice session transcripts, coaching debriefs, and related conversation content are automatically deleted 30 days after the session, as part of a recurring, automated process. Your session records, scores, and progress milestones are retained longer so that your dashboard, skill progress, and level history remain accurate; it is the detailed conversation content itself that is purged. Voice recordings follow the schedule in Section 4.

Content-Safety Review Records. If a practice session ends automatically because you directed sexual, hateful, threatening, or otherwise abusive content at an AI-simulated customer (as described in Section 8 of our Terms of Use), we keep a record of that event in a restricted review log. The record contains your account identifier, the time, the category of content detected, the message that triggered the ending, and the simulated customer's line immediately before it. This log is not visible to customers and is accessible only to Sellnario's account owner for manual review. It is not used to take automated action against your account; any warning, suspension, or termination is a decision made by a person under Section 16 of our Terms. Because these records serve a safety and enforcement purpose, they are not included in the 30-day practice-history purge and are kept until your account is deleted, or longer where necessary for the legal and security reasons described below.

Account Deletion. You may permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings > Account, or by contacting support@sellnario.com. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, sales context, practice history, scores, and access record, and cannot be undone.

Data Export. Before deleting your account, you may request an export of your practice content and performance history by emailing support@sellnario.com; we will provide a reasonable export in a common file format where feasible.

Post-Deletion Retention. We may retain limited information after account closure where necessary for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, or as required by law.

7. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Regardless of where you live, we offer you the following choices and rights with respect to your information:

Access, Correction, and Deletion. You can review and update most of your account information directly in Settings. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support@sellnario.com; we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

No Sale or Sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no need to submit an opt-out request for that purpose.

Marketing Emails. You can opt out of product and account marketing emails at any time in Settings > Account, under Email preferences. We will still send you service-critical emails, such as password resets and billing notices.

Device and Session Management. You can sign out of all devices at any time using the "Sign out everywhere" option in Settings.

State Privacy Laws. Some states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia, give their residents specific statutory rights over their personal information, such as the right to know, correct, delete, and limit use of sensitive information. We extend the substance of these rights to all Sellnario users nationwide, through the tools and contact method described above, rather than limiting them to residents of any one state. You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service, consistent with our Terms of Use. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it and terminate the associated account.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls limiting who can view your data, and private, per-user access policies on stored voice recordings. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and take other steps as required by applicable law.

10. U.S.-Focused Service

Sellnario is offered to customers in the United States, and our infrastructure and service providers store and process information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law; we do not currently tailor the Service to the laws of any specific country outside the United States. If we begin marketing the Service internationally, we will update this Policy to describe any additional rights or safeguards that apply.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Sellnario. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site or service before providing it with information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email, in-app notice, or by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
